Today we are thinking of all the men and women who serve(d) in the U.S. military and their families. Thank you for the huge sacrifices you have made to keep America free.

Today we are reflecting on how precious freedom really is, as well as how fragile. A tremendous price has been paid by our predecessors to keep us free. The ongoing struggle to maintain our freedom has become even more complex and challenging. We deeply appreciate all freedom fighters and peacekeepers, past and present, for their sacrifices on our behalf.

Take a moment this Memorial Day to remember our fallen heroes. Heroes include but are not limited to military service members. Heroes can include mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, aunts and uncles, friends and neighbors, good samaritans and helpers who have impacted our lives or the lives of others and are no longer with us. Remember and celebrate their lives and appreciate yours a litter bit more.
